Private-label clothing manufacturer in Turkey: how to write an RFQ
A private-label RFQ should explain a product programme, not ask for a universal price. The clearer the product, fabric, brand and destination details are, the more useful a manufacturer’s response can be.
Set the commercial context first
State your brand, product category, intended customer, target market and the collection or launch context. Then list styles, colourways, sizes and target quantities where they are known.
These details do not create a fixed minimum, cost or delivery promise. They give the manufacturer the information needed to assess the production route for your specific garments.
Attach product information the development team can use
A technical pack with flats, measurements, construction notes and components is the strongest starting point. If you are working from an existing reference garment, explain what should remain and what should change.
For knit or woven garments, include the desired fabric composition, construction or weight where known, colour direction, artwork, prints, embroidery and wash expectations. This makes the sample stage more purposeful.
Plan labels and packaging with the garment
Private label is a complete product experience. Include neck labels, care labels, size labels, hangtags, barcode details, packaging and approved artwork in the early brief.
Review branded components on the sample where possible. This helps the product, sourcing and marketing teams approve the same references instead of treating garment and branding as separate projects.
Use evidence-based material language
If the collection is positioned around a material attribute, show the wording you intend to use and ask which order-specific documentation can be reviewed. This is particularly important when terms such as organic or certified appear in customer-facing copy.
A claim should match the material and supply-chain scope confirmed for the programme. Clear evidence is more valuable to a brand than an unqualified statement.
